After winning the Brood Bitch competition at the Standard Schnauzer Club of Northern California’s 2006 Specialty, Gena is now living life as a "family companion" with the Stitcher Family in northern California. She will be pursuing her titles in Rally-Obedience, Herding and Tracking with her new family sometime in the future. She is too busy being spoiled right now to be bothered with working for a living.

Gena is the grand daughter of Pa (Ch. Parsifal-PS Di Casa Netzer) -- the only Standard Schnauzer to win Best in show at the Westminster KC Dog show and Rocky (Ch. Charisma Jailhouse rock) -- a 2 time Working Group winner at Westminster KC Dog Show and winner of over 75 Best In Shows.

Gena earned her International Championship in 2003 going Best of Breed over a strong showing of Specials and Bred-By competition. She was described as "a sturdy, well muscled bitch with well sprung ribcage, strong and level topline; well angulated front and rear; and a clean moving, ground-covering, reaching and driving gait". She completed her AKC Championship in February 2004 in the capable hands of Professional All-Breed Handler, Sonda Peterson.

Gena is a "willing to please dog" for any sport that requires her to think independently and has excelled in Tracking and Herding. She completed the AKC Herding tests in 2005 and is training for her Open Trial work in AKC and her Jr. herding Dog Title under the American Herding Breeds Association Trials. Her true love is hunting for any rat, squirrel or vermin that enters her yard by mistake. She is at home in a field or on your lap and has the can-do attitude that most performance folks love about the Standard Schnauzer as a breed. In September 2004 she produced a healthy litter of 10 puppies and they carry many of the fine qualities of their Sire and Dam - mainly they are wonderful home companions, willing workers, and good representatives of the written breed standard. We are very proud of her accomplishments in the performance arenas and the welping box.

With the completion of Championship certificates on Daughters, Roxie and Irene, and Sons, Tank and Boo; Gena can now be included as a Leading Producer for our breed in 2007. Her work ethic and breed quality will continue on in her children as they pursue performance titles and work towards their Specials careers in the future. Sire for this championship litter is Ch. Charisma Ali Baba, CD, RN, HT, CGC (Beau)
