Meet the Keygolde Schnauzers

Our Foundation Dogs

Senate is KeyGolde's #1 Stud dog. He is also known as Multi Ch. Cortaillod Kenai, Verstility Dog I. Senate has far exceeded his goals in the Conformation rings with Working Group Win and Placements and in the Performance and Companion arenas earning Versatility Dog recognition in 2006 for his work in Obedience, Rally and in the Herding Pens. (Am./Can. Ch. Cortaillod Sparta v Can Ch. Charisma Orinioco, 2000)

Gena was our Foundation Bitch. Her official title is Multi Ch. Cortaillod Umbria, CGC, PT, JHD. She is a Leading Producer for our breed. Gena now lives in Sacramento and is working on her Tracking and K9 Nanny prowess. (Can/Am/Intl Ch. Oakwood Cortaillod Schooner v Charisma Glenlivet, 2001)

Our Champions

Irene, Multi Ch. Keygolde Rosemont v Blackhawk, PT has taken over as “Princess” of the house. She is the spitting image of her mother (Gena) with more bone and mischievous attitude. (BISS Ch. Charisma Ali Baba, CD, RN, CGC, HT v Multi Ch. Cortaillod Umbria, CGC, PT, JHD 2004)

Keya was The Boss of our household and the right-hand dog for everything that went on in the kennels and with the dogs. She kept the Standards under control and things moving along as she saw fit around the house. She was the “key” in the Keygolde Name

Tank, Multi Ch. Keygolde BrynMawr v Blackhawk, CGC, PT, RN. Along with sister, Irene, they are often referred to as "the evil twins". He is working in Obedience and Rally while we wait to Special him in the Conformation rings. (BISS Ch. Charisma Ali Baba, CD, RN, CGC, HT v Multi Ch. Cortaillod Umbria, CGC, PT, JHD 2004)

Boo, BISS Ch. Keygolde Allegheny v Blackhawk, is living the good life as family companion and retired show dog in northern California. He readily turned heads in the conformation show world, winning a Regional Specialty at just 3 years of age in 2007. (BISS Ch. Charisma Ali Baba, CD, RN, CGC, HT v Multi Ch. Cortaillod Umbria, CGC, PT, JHD 2004)

Noire, from our 2004 Litter. Sadly we lost "Noire" in January 2006 in a hit-by-car accident in Oregon. Her death was tragic and will reverberate in our hearts for some time to come. She was well on her way to fulfilling her owner’s expectations as a wonderful Agility and Obedience dog and Therapy dog at local grade schools.

Roxy, Ch. Keygolde Roxbury v Blackhawk, CGC, RN has taken over as Ruler of the roost at the Wunderkindschnauzers kennels in Northern California. She continues to show in the performance venues, earning Rally titles with Placements in 2007. (BISS Ch. Charisma Ali Baba, CD, RN, CGC, HT v Multi Ch. Cortaillod Umbria, CGC, PT, JHD 2004)

Pepper, Champage Pepper vd Keygolde, UD, RAE4, TDI, CGC has become a performance phenom. in Southern California. She has earned High in Trial recognition in both the Southern California and Northern California Regional Specialties, Southern California Standard Schnauzer Club Odedience dog of the Year 2005, Standard Schnauzer Club Open Obedience dog of the Year 2007. We are most proud of her work as a Therapy Dog when she is not out “wowing” the crowd in Obedience. (Multi Ch. Cortaillod Kenai, VDI v Ch. Luja’s Champage Bubbles, 2004)
